Melbourne Writers Group at the EWF 2014, May 28th

Hi everyone, we have changed the date for our next meet to coincide with a festival event on Wednesday the 28th. Although the event begins at 7.30pm, we are meeting at Father’s Office beforehand at 5pm: http://www.meetup.com/The-Melbourne-Writers-Meetup-Group/events/181646492/

We are also not going to run the monthly event as this may conflict with other EWF events. Also, the new Richmond Town Hall Hotel opens the end of this month, which is where we are hoping to hold our monthly writing events each month from mid June onwards.

We’ll post to our Facebook page of the EWF events we are attending and where we are, so people can meetup. Please also post to our FB page of your own comings and goings during the festival and then meet with fellow writers from our group: http://www.facebook.com/MelbWriters

I’ll be looking at being at these three locations during some of the days if anyone wishes to come write, talk or meet to work out what event they are going to next: Starbucks 295 Swanston Street, Wheeler Centre (upstairs), and Father’s Office bar (up stairs). (And if it’s a nice day, out the front of the Vic Library.) These locations are all a few seconds walk from each other. Either Geoff or I will post to our FB page if we are going to be at these locations. Please also post to our FB page if you are going to be at any of these locations so you can meet with other writers.

Cheers, Mat.
